The challenge
The situation was clear: there was a decline in new driving students, and first aid courses and traffic theory courses (VKU) had also seen a slump. The goal was to get the driving school back on track and strengthen its online presence to generate new leads.
To achieve this, LA Click, together with team humm, developed a five-phase plan.
The approach
Google Ads campaigns:
First, Google Ads campaigns were set up to drive the right target audience directly to the website. The campaigns were targeted with keywords such as “driving school Schlieren,” “test drive Altstetten,” and “first aid course Dietikon.” At the same time, conversion tracking was implemented so that Google AI could optimize the campaigns.
The result: Initial visibility, initial clicks, and initial bookings. At the same time, valuable data on user behavior was collected, which was later used to optimize the website and future campaigns.
UX & Target Group Needs
Another focus was the analysis of the user experience on the website. The pick-up and drop-off service, in particular, is a key unique selling proposition (USP) that needs to be clearly communicated. Test drives should be easy to book, and information on driving lessons, courses, and pick-up locations should be readily accessible.
A particular advantage for younger target groups: communication via WhatsApp. This not only makes booking appointments easier, but also makes the entire experience simpler and more modern.
Optimize website
The website has been restructured to make the most important information clearly visible. On the “Passenger Cars & Public Transport” page, all categories are clearly listed, locations are clearly marked, and contact options are easily accessible. Additional services such as support for driving anxiety or flexible pick-up locations are also highlighted.
All bookings, whether for a test drive, driving lesson or additional course, are possible directly on the homepage, making the booking process simple and smooth.
