What is the difference between Google Ads and the Google Merchant Center?
The Merchant Center is the “warehouse” for your product data. Here, all information such as images, prices, and stock levels are uploaded and managed. Google Ads, on the other hand, is the “tool” we use to create and manage ads from this data. Without a properly configured Merchant Center, no shopping campaigns can be run.
The most common reasons are discrepancies between the data in your feed and on your website (e.g., different prices), missing shipping information, or violations of Google’s policies. We conduct a comprehensive audit, fix these errors, and ensure that your product data feed remains permanently approved.
Not necessarily. There are “free listings” on Google Shopping that can be displayed organically (i.e., without click costs). However, paid shopping campaigns are necessary for maximum reach and top placements in the search results.
