The challenge
Google’s sales and marketing team needed a better way to collect contact information from potential customers at their events. They had to ensure everything was GDPR compliant, especially regarding obtaining explicit consent to contact these prospects. Furthermore, it was crucial that the collected data could be seamlessly transferred to their CRM system for nurturing these new leads.
The approach
We developed an intelligent, scalable lead capture solution that meets all GDPR requirements:
- Issuance of badges to event participants with encrypted contact details in QR codes.
- Using a mobile-friendly, browser-based tool, Google’s teams were able to scan these QR codes and confirm consent on site.
- After scanning, the contact details were transferred to a secure document.
- This feature facilitated the export of contacts directly into their CRM system and laid the foundation for effective follow-up measures.
The results
Dieses neue System veränderte wirklich alles für Google bei ihren Veranstaltungen. Nehmen wir zum Beispiel die Hannover Messe 2024, bei der sie 7.500 Leads sammelten – ein Rekord, der den vorherigen von 1.200 deutlich übertraf. Das ist eine Steigerung von +525%, was beweist, dass unsere Lösung nicht nur funktioniert, sondern beeindruckende Ergebnisse liefert.
